I am a one-time staff writer at Rutgers University, now writing for organizations across the United States. I leveraged knowledge and contacts from the university to experience the startup ecosystem in New Jersey, then worked for a while as a communicator for workforce development projects. I got to know the corporate engagement and technology transfer side of universities through work for the University Industry Demonstration Partnership and later as a writer for the University Industry Engagement Advisor and Technology Transfer Tactics. My ultimate quest is to learn new things about how your organization works and how I can apply what I know about communication and writing to take it to the next level. I’m the writer communication directors call when their content needs extend beyond the capabilities of their existing staff.
